what you gather
- ·a glass jar with lid
- ·dried mint (quick money) and dried basil (steady growth)
- ·a few grains of dry rice (never-empty pantry, an old folk correspondence)
- ·a petition paper with one specific, realistic goal
- ·a green or gold candle
the working
- Ion the new moon, write your specific goal on the petition paper. Fold it toward you.
- IIlayer into the jar: petition paper, then rice, then mint and basil.
- IIIseal the jar. Fix the candle to the lid with melted wax.
- IVlight it and speak the incantation.
- Vset the jar somewhere it will stay undisturbed for the full month.
- VIon the following new moon, open the jar, thank it, and either renew it or release the contents outdoors.
