what you gather
- ·1 gallon water
- ·1/2 cup white vinegar
- ·1 tbsp salt
- ·small bundle of rosemary + sage + bay leaves (or strong herbal tea brewed from them)
- ·1 black candle
the working
- Ibrew the herbs in 2 cups boiling water for 15 minutes. Strain into a large bucket.
- IIadd the remaining water, vinegar, and salt to the bucket. Stir clockwise 9 times while speaking the incantation.
- IIIlight the black candle in the room being cleansed.
- IVmop the floor moving from the deepest part of the room TOWARD the front door (drawing the energy OUT).
- Vdo every room, ending at the front threshold.
- VIopen all doors and windows for at least 15 minutes after.
- VIIdispose of the remaining water by pouring it down the drain (or outside if you have a yard, far from plants — the vinegar can harm them).
