banishing

Lemon Vinegar Repel Wash

sharp, sour, and it means it.

she wants

repel a specific hostile influence from crossing your doorway

she casts on

waning moon
Tuesday
mars hour

what you gather

  • ·1 cup white vinegar
  • ·juice of 1 lemon
  • ·1 tbsp salt
  • ·a cloth for washing

the working

  1. Icombine the vinegar, lemon juice, and salt in a bowl. Stir counter-clockwise nine times.
  2. IIname aloud, specifically, what you're repelling as you stir.
  3. IIIdip the cloth and wash your front doorstep and door handle, working outward from the threshold.
  4. IVspeak the incantation as you finish.
  5. Vdispose of the remaining wash outside the property, away from plants — it's harsh on them.
  6. VIrepeat weekly if the influence is persistent.

she speaks

"Sharp at the door, sour at the step. What isn't welcome tastes it first, and turns around."

she expects

A felt firming of the threshold within days — this is a repel, not a removal of anything already inside; pair with a banishing working if the influence has already crossed in.
