what you gather
- ·a gold or yellow candle
- ·a blank sheet of paper (deliberately blank — not a wish list)
- ·a pen
the working
- Ilight the candle.
- IIhold the blank paper and speak the incantation.
- IIIsit for a few minutes without writing anything — resist the urge to list demands.
- IVif something genuinely surfaces, write one word for it. If nothing does, that's fine too.
- Vfold the paper (with or without a word on it) and place it under the candle holder.
- VIlet the candle burn at least 20 minutes. Keep the paper until the next new moon.
